Ok, so the picture isn't all that great, I'm really going to have to stop taking pictures with my phone, but my other camera sucks, and it isn't always right on hand. So this cake wasn't so much fun. First off this is the first pillow cake I've done. And instead of taking the easy way out and buying a fake tiera at the dollar store I actually tried to make one. It looked easy enough on the web. But if you're wondering, the tiera is made with royal icing. It broke to pieces the first time, so I had to start all over again. But it was ok because I started this a few days before it was due, so I did have time to redue it. The second time I made the tiera it did brake in a couple spots, but I was able to fix it with more icing. I made my mom drive me to the client's house so I could hold the cake. I held the cake up the whole time so it wouldn't be bumped around by the car ride.I know you can't see them but there are crystals in there.
Ok, sorry top image was uploaded last, but there is a close up pic of the tiera.
